We are a community dedicated to empowering and supporting Black conservatives across the United Kingdom.
Our mission is to encourage more Black individuals to join the Conservative Party, actively engage in shaping our nation’s political landscape, and drive upward mobility within our communities.
We believe that diversity of thought, representation, and opportunity are essential for a thriving democracy and a prosperous UK.

At Black Tories and Friends, we are a united community of Africans and Caribbeans based in the UK who share conservative values and believe in the principles of personal responsibility, individual liberty, and limited government. Our group was formed with the aim of increasing representation of the black community within the Conservative party and supporting Black Tories in their journey to political and public office. Through mentorship, training, and collaborative initiatives, we strive to empower and equip aspiring Black Tories with the necessary tools to succeed in their political careers.
LEADERSHIP & MENTORING
At Black Tories, we recognise the importance of cultivating strong leaders within the black community. Our leadership and mentoring programs provide guidance, support, and resources to aspiring politicians and public leaders, enabling them to develop the necessary skills and knowledge for political and public office. Through one-on-one mentorship, training workshops, and access to experienced professionals, we strive to empower and inspire the next generation of UK's leaders.
NETWORKING AND EVENTS
Networking is a vital aspect of political engagement and community growth. Our events bring together the Black community, Black Conservatives, MPs, and influential figures from various sectors. These gatherings create opportunities for meaningful connections, collaborations, and discussions on key issues affecting Black communities, the UK, and the broader world. Through social, business, and political interactions, we foster growth, build partnerships, and create lasting connections that drive progress and influence.
POLICY AND ADVOCACY
We recognise the importance of influencing policies that directly impact the black community in the UK and abroad. Through research, engagement with policymakers, and community outreach, we advocate for policies that address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by black individuals in society. Our policy initiatives focus on areas such as economic empowerment, education, justice and other areas. Join us in advocating for policies that promote fairness, freedom, justice, opportunity, and prosperity in the UK and abroad.
